Fall
1. Carine Skirt
I love this army green corduroy skirt from Sea and cannot wait to wear it this season. I am going to pair it with my brown loafers or tall camel boots and probably just a neutral color sweater. Done and done.
2. Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer
I do not know about anyone else but (besides a fireplace and fancy latte maker) in my dream kitchen stands a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. Even as an avid baker, I’ve never sprung for one. However, this beautiful green-hued one with a wooden bowl really caught my eye. Especially with all the holiday baking coming up, it might just be time to make my dreams come true.
3. Hearth Basket
Fire season is upon us and how beautiful is this basket from one of my fav Atlanta stores for all your logging needs? If you live in the Fairfield area, we get our firewood from Vermont Goodwood and they are awesome. It’s a bit of a splurge, but I think worth it for the way the wood lights really easily (even for novice fire-builders like me). You will thank me on a cold, but cozy, night.
4. Lemon Shaker Pie
My friend Liz turned me onto Alison Roman this summer and I’ve loved making her scones with the kids this fall, they’re so easy and really delicious. Both savory and “sweet enough”. I am thinking of changing up Thanksgiving this year and trying this pie which would be beautiful served in a dish like this one I spotted at the Nickey Kehoe store.
5. Southern Interiors
I am so proud of my friend Tori and love her beautiful new book with Schumacher so much.
6. Quail Meadow Fabric
Speaking of Schumacher, I stumbled onto this fabric and something about it gave me all the fall feels (even though it’s technically titled “Winter”). It would be perfect in a little charming cabin somewhere upstate.
7. Adidas Original
I have been on the hunt for a new sneaker and this one fits the bill perfectly. It’s funny how what is old and classic becomes the only thing you want after all.
