Labor Day

1. Favorite New Dish Cloth

For a recent shoot, I loaded up on these kitchen clothes, I love the colors and sturdy texture. You can find them at Fog Linen and I also spotted them at my all time favorite Atlanta spot Star Provisions.

2. Picnic Time

All summer long, we enjoy our dinners while the sun fades away at our local beach club and these melamine plates are perfect for a last Labor Day hurrah. Also works off-season for kids.

3. Hello Beautiful

My good friend recommended this book to me and she was right. It was so hauntingly beautiful, sad and sweet all at the same time, I loved it so much. I am also deep into The God of the Woods right now and cannot wait to see what happens.

4. Chloe Cotton-Chambray Dress

Please go on sale soon… I have been stalking this dress of my dreams, but no luck yet!

5. Mexican Street Corn Salad

Perfect for said picnic mentioned above, especially while the fresh-picked corn is still good where we live in New England.

6. Amaryllis

On my birthday this July, I bought this new shade and haven’t looked back. It is perfect for a fun summer night when you are out and about.

7. Fleurs Noir

While I was too busy tackling my kids to put on their sunscreen, Nickey Kehoe sold this beautiful painting. Such a bummer, because I loved it, but I’ll keep an eye out for something similar.
