Spring Fling
1. Bringing back the boat shoe!
It has been so fun to see all the boats where we live wake-up from their winter slumbers. I stand by always loving a boat shoe. Of course, Sperry can meet your basic needs, or try this one from Miu Miu if you want to be extra fancy.
2. Mother’s Day
This is my #1 request for Mother’s Day. Like many out there, I love all things Gil Schafer. Also speaking of him, check out other favorite, Rita Konig’s latest course on Create Academy. I loved her first one, I cannot wait to lock myself away and watch this one.
3. Fantasy Mother’s Day?
Flowers in this beauty? I would be ok with that.
4. Thank you!
I will die on the sword of a hand-written thank you note and these are so cute.
5. Cesta Top Handle Tote
I briefly worked with Courtney (what feels like a lifetime ago) and she was awesome. It has been fun to watch her brand grow and I love this bag so much.
6. Rattan Planters
This Spring, I have loved putting a big beautiful Lavender plant in a rattan basket on our dining room table and a hydrangea in our den. I purchased both baskets from Copia, if you are in the Fairfield area, or I also went to Lucy’s Garden Shop while home in Atlanta and it was awesome.
7. The New Look
I loved, loved this show. I was so sad when it was over. It was so cool to see the back story of the Paris fashion world during WWII. I am also obsessed with We Were The Lucky Ones. Like anything, you must read the book first. Written by local Rowayton writer, Georgia Hunter. This is a harrowing story of a family torn apart during the war, but they maintained such strength and wits and fortitude, it is outstanding. I could not recommend it enough and so far, the show is equally as magnificent as the book, which is not an easy feat!
